Around the World in MMXII - Jan '12
Right now you’re probably battling the winter blues, the resolutions you committed to on New Years Eve have probably begun to slip and most of you will probably be thinking of, or will have already, made plans for heading off somewhere warm around April / May...

Our second London solo show - MOMENTS of CLARITY - will commence on the 26th April and run throughout the month of May at Whisper Gallery, 27-28 Eastcastle Street, W1W 8DH
We’ve been working towards this show for the past 9 months.
Blood, sweat and tears have been shed, possibly in equal measure and we’re looking forward to seeing all that hard work come together in one place for everyone to see. So please make a note in your diary and make London the destination!
If you can't make it in April, don't worry as 2012 looks set to be our busiest yet, not only do we have our second London solo show lined up, but also solo shows in Milan (June), Tokyo (August) and Las Vegas (November). So there should be no reason why anyone misses out!
We’ll confirm dates as soon as they come in so stay tuned and hopefully we'll see some of you along the way.

MINI CHINOOK WINNERS:
Thanks to everyone who joined in the first of our winter competitions! There were some great suggestions posted, but we've finally chosen the 5 that stood out the best for us... So here they are:
Fuko Mzungu: Would take mine not far away from where I live... Hanged in a acacia tree in Maasai Mara plains (Kenya).
Adam Gurr: As I am going to be heading along the Great Ocean Road from Melbourne in January I'll take my mini CC and find somewhere along the way
Ben Broome: i'd take mine to the top ao a big mountain in the alps stuck to my snowboard...if you send me one i will actually do this in january!
Oscar J-T Holm: I will bring my Mini CC to a lucha libre fight in Mexico, for a real Mexican stand off!!
Sonia Hudson: id like to give it to my friend to take sky diving - amazing spot to see a chinook and a chandelier.

November 1st 2011: Mini CC Competition Info
The clocks have gone back, the leaves have begun to fall and winter winds are keeping things fresh in the studio...
So it’s little wonder we’re already day dreaming back to those sun drenched days spent with friends in parks and on beaches, in shorts and t-shirts, enjoying cold drinks and smokey barbecues.
We can’t turn the clocks back (again) or change the weather for you, so instead to inject a little winter cheer into the days ahead, we’ll be running a handful of competitions through facebook and twitter, with prizes ranging from a ‘Mini Chinook Chandelier’, to a limited edition screen print and finally one of the ‘art cushions’ we recently collaborated on with thisisalimitededition, just in time for Christmas.
First up, we are offering 1 x ‘Mini Chinook Chandelier’ to 5 people who do the following over the next 7 days:
Log into Facebook and “Like” (fan) the WeLikeStatic Facebook page, then “Like” 1 of the 3 photos above and leave a comment, telling us where you would take your ‘Mini CC’ on your dream holiday. (Photos can be found in the "2011" folder.)

Multiplied / Contemporary Editions Fair - Oct '11
Christie's is delighted to announce Multiplied 2011, the UK's first and only Fair devoted exclusively to Contemporary Art in Editions.
Following a ground-breaking launch last year, Multiplied will once again showcase the best in contemporary art editions, with the hottest new names presented alongside a stellar line up of some of the best known contemporary artists. Embracing all media from prints and photographs to artist's books and 3-D multiples, Multiplied will feature:

Black Rat Projects will be show casing a glass layered piece from our latest body of work which will form part of our next solo show scheduled for early next year. The piece has been picked from the 'Portrait' side of our new work which explores colour, shape, light, reflection and transparency using stencils, spray paint and screen printed elements.
