Winter is on its way... Time to wrap up warm... Stay indoors...
Not if you're an artist and there's the opportunity to splash a bit of paint on some walls!
Tom & I ended October and started November by working with a selection of Hackney Wick's finest, plus some special guests, to paint 180m of hoarding on Bream Street.
Ably assisted by our neighbour AIDA over the course of two weekends the likes of Xenz, Skeleton Cardboard, Float & Pang, NEOH, DONE, DONT FRET, Josh Jeavens, Teddy Baden, CAVE, EDWIN, Mark McClure, Darren John, HIN, SONY, HATCH, OUST & ourselves took on 10m each and transformed the hoardings into the largest outdoor gallery in East London.
Everyone involved left their mark and you can check it out any time you're in the Wick from now into 2017.
Elsewhere, we have been commissioned to paint two buildings in Waltham Forest as part of our work with Wood Street Walls.
Following a workshop and a public consultation 2 designs have been shortlisted which can be voted on by visiting markhousemurals.co.uk and selecting your favourite between A & B.
The other one will hopefully be underway in the next couple of weeks and will be transforming The Flowerpot on Wood Street with a large scale mural and make-over which has been nearly a year in the planning - so wish us luck and keep your fingers crossed the weather is kind!
